Easter in Krakow!!
April 11th, 2009 · Posted in Uncategorized, latest news from Krakow ·Early morning outside of St. Mary’s church tables have been set up. At 13.00 Cardinal of Krakow - Mr Dziwisz - former assistant of Pope John Paul II will bless the food for Sunday Breakfast. Krakowians will bring beautifully decorated baskets filled with goodies.

In a basket you can always find sausage, ham, a bit of horseradish and butter, cakes and a lot of colorfully decorated eggs..

Some of those delicacies you could find today on Easter Market - across the square..
Local agricultural farms and folk organizations brought their specialities to the square. You could taste some genuine home made cakes and authentic polish bread..
Cakes were really delicious… real explosion of calories… :)) we decided to spoil ourselves..
