2 June - Very Jewish Walk and Bike “Race” Against Rain
June 5th, 2009 · Posted in Bike Tour, Jewish Quarter Walk, Our Groups ·A Jewish couple from New York were our guests this morning for Jewish Quarter Walk. It turned out that both of them had ancestors from Poland: Krakow and Warsaw. It was an absolutely great pleasure to have them as a company.

In the afternoon, we had a bike-tour race against the weather, which at the beginning of June this year is absolutely unpredictable: unusually cold, rainy and windy. We almost cheated our main competitor - RAIN - once hiding from it at a cafe, but the next time it came with thunderstorm and kept us under the bridge hiding for about 20 minutes. But 10 brave cyclist came after the tour smiling and slightly wet.

So, please, meet all of them: three Germans from Berlin and Heidelberg, a Czech lady from PodÄ›brady, three brothers from Sri Lanka (the first guests from the exotic country on our tours), two ladies from Oxford in England and a Malaysian living in London…
… and the rain clouds behind them
