On the last day of March it was decided in Brussels that the new capital of the European Union is moving to Krakow. But it colided with the decision of the Polish government to reestablish in Krakow the historical royal capital of the country. By the end of this year Poland is going to be a monarchy again. The election of a new king will take place together with the elections to the European Parliament at the beginning of June…

But in the morning we were, as usually, very serious and hospitable and had a sunny walking tour of the Jewish Quarter with three ladies from Glasgow, Scotland and two ladies from Germany (Cologne and Bonn).

The day was really warm and sunny, as you see on the picture which was taken while crossing the Vistula River.
