Last Saturday, the annual Jewish Culture Festival started in Krakow. The 19th time the Old Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz hosts the event. Concerts, theatre performances, cinema shows, guided tours, dance lessons, cooking and language classes invite guests till the end of this week. The traditional final open-air concert will take place next Saturday on 4 July at ulica Szeroka in the centre of Kazimierz.

And we had two nice walking tours attended by large group of Krakow visitors. In the morning, we were joined by the Essex trio, who already enjoyed the yesterday’s walk of the Old Town, a student from Adelaide, Australia, studying Law and German in Heidelberg, two friends from the States (Iowa and Seattle), and a father-son duet from Manchester, England.

The Old Town Walk attracted a six-member family from Western Norway celebrating the mother’s birthday in Krakow (the perfect choice for the party :)), twin sisters from Birmingham, England, and a mother-daughter duet with Polish backgrounds from Massachusetts, USA.
