23 January - Even Colder Walks
January 23rd, 2010 · Posted in Jewish Quarter Walk, Old Town Walk, Our Groups, latest news from Krakow ·This morning outdoor thermometer columns were showing - 20 Centigrade, which means even minus temperature in Fahrenheit scale (about -4). It’s a quite difficult time for Krakow’s river birds: ducks, swans, seagulls. The only bit of the river water without ice they can find it’s next to bridge piers…

The Arctic air was an obstacle for our today’s guests… In the morning, we toured the Jewish Quarter with a couple from Northern Ireland and Irish-Canadian friends living in Sligo, Ireland…

We met the Northern Irish couple again in the afternoon for the Old Town Walk (respect for frost-resistance
). They were joined by a Dutch family, and two young ladies from Bristol, England…
