It’s become a good tradition to have a Cycling Sunday. Today we had another one…
In the morning, we toured the city with a group of 16 Eastern Trekkers from Australia, New Zealand and USA.

 For the regulat Bike Tour at 1 pm we welcomed 20 cyclists - one of the biggest groups this year so far: fourteen English travellers [...]

Today Poland was celebrating two national holidays: the Day of the Polish Army and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Since Poland is mostly catholic the second holiday is one of the most important after Chrstmas, Easter and All Saints…

Some of our citizens attended the churches today, some went for the Madonna’s concert in Warsaw…

 The weekend started in Krakow with an annual Pierogi Festival…

What are the PIEROGI? PIEROGI are traditional Polish dumplings which might be stuffed with meat, cabbage, mushrooms, cottage cheese, potatoes, fruits, berries, etc. For any taste!

Autumn is in the air. More rain. Less sun.
Today we were cycling the city with an English family trio from Cumbria and three Swedes. For almost 4 hours we were avoiding the rain, but finally it caught us for the last 10 minutes of the tour… Well, it was the reason to push pedals a bit faster [...]

Today, like on every summer Sunday, we again were cycling the city with two groups of Eastern Trekkers: Kiwis, Japanese and looooot of Aussies.
At the beginning, there were 22 bikers in the morning…

 … and then 11 in the afternoon…

… as a result - a good weather, fun and three flat tyres

Today the whole centre of Krakow was about the final stage of the one-week Bicycle Tour of Poland. The cyclists reached the finish line at about 5:30 in the afternoon.

Today we toured the city on 24 wheels… It means we had 11 guests and 1 guide We were glad to welcome in Krakow two English couples from Bristol and Brighton, a family from Cluj in Romania (the first Romanians on hour bike tours), an Italian couple from Torino, one traveller from San Francisco and [...]

…but it wasn’t one of our groups. All the people are the pilgrims. There were thousands of them walking through the Old Town on their way to CzÄ™stochowa Black Madonna Sanctuary about 150 km from Krakow. Catholics from all over Poland are heading to the sanctuary to be [...]

On the hot sunny Monday, we welcomed fifteen cyclers for the Bike Tour. For the first time in many days there was no Australians in a group (but we still expect more).

Last Sunday we were celebrating the finish of Tour de France, today is the time for the start of the 66th Tour de Pologne - a one-week bicycle race around Poland. The finish line is in Krakow next Saturday.
