Three friends from Poland, the US and India once studied in UCLA together turned up for our morning walk of the Jewish Quarter.

Today Krakow Bike Tour was enjoyed by eight happy bikers. Three of them were almost cycling professionals since there from Leiden in Holland, plus a couple from Northern Sweden, two friends from England visiting Poland for a wedding and an Aussie traveller.

It was one of the busiest days this month so far. In tne morning, we entertained a huge group of Eastern Trekkers touring Central Europe by bus. 19 guys for the bike tour of Krakow: Aussies, Kiwis, Malaysians, Americans and Canadians.

Krakow in summer means festivals. After Jewish Culture Festival and Summer Jazz Fest another event hits the streets of the city - 22nd International Street Theatre Festival. Everyone can become an actor without even realizing it.

Today guys from both Americas were the Bike Tour majority. Nine representatives of North and South Americas absolutely outnumbered just three Europeans. So… The big American Nine includes four Brazilians, a Canadian couple from Manitoba, three guys from the US - San Francisco and Kansas. Krakow is hot as Australia. So we welcomed 4 guys from the kangaroo continent for our bike tour of Krakow. To disolve this Aussie atmosphere we were happy to tour with a Swedish couple from Lund, two ladies from Shrewsbury in England, an US Air Force officer from Florida and a traveller from Columbia.

The first weekend of July is the traditional beginning of Krakow Summer Jazz Festival at Piwnica Pod Baranami. Untill the end of the month Krakow will be the centre of Polish jazz scene with numbers of concerts every night. The festival kicked off with New Orleans Sunday on the Main Market Square.

The hot weather is finally in Krakow
Today we welcomed 8 cyclists enjoying hot and sunny afternoon biking around Krakow: three Germans from Berlin and Southern Germany, an Australian couple from Sidney, two Irish from Dublin and a Malaysian volunteer teaching English in Poland.

Last Saturday, the annual Jewish Culture Festival started in Krakow. The 19th time the Old Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz hosts the event. Concerts, theatre performances, cinema shows, guided tours, dance lessons, cooking and language classes invite guests till the end of this week.
