As a result of longlasting rains the floods have started. A few towns in Southern Poland are fighting with large amount of water. Nevertheless, the situation in Poland is much better than it’s in the Czech Republic across the border. So, if you are planning a train trip from Krakow to Prague, expect some delays.

Hurray! Today we had the first sunny day for the first time for more than a week. Perhaps, it was brought by two ladies and their daughters from the most southern Norwegian town of Mandal, who thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour. Thank you for the sun!!!
Sorry, but it was raining again almost all day… ALMOST! Because it stopped for four hours between 1pm and 5pm. Exactly four hours we needed for the perfect bike tour of the beautiful Krakow.
The luck was brought thanx to an Australian couple from perth studying zoology and astronomy in Oxford and an English lady from [...]
There is something wrong with the summer in Krakow this year. Rain, rain, rain, thunderstorms… Fingers crossed for the better July and August. Please, trust us - usually we have nice, hot, sunny summers. We swear!
But despite the miserable weather we are so lucky to have plenty of nice visitors. This morning we cycled Krakow [...]
This morning we walked around the Jewish Quarter with group of six visitors: two ladies-fans of tennis from Dublin in Ireland, an Irish-English couple from Naas, Kildare County, Ireland, and a Polish-Belgian couple from Warsaw and Antwerp. One of the highlights of the tour was meeting of a French cyclist, who was on his way from [...]
It’s warmer again in Krakow. It’s not really hot, but after all it’s much better than windy torrential rain straight to your face
Even walks look better in such atmosphere. In the morning, we toured the Jewish Quarter with English-American family, which at the same time lives on two continents - part in Honk [...]
Poland is celebrating 20 years since collapse of communism. Krakow became the centre of the celebration. Thanx to prime-ministers, presidents and chancellors invited for the party the city centre was converted into a fortress for two days. After a few days of rain and wind (which, in fact, were still here today) we had a logistical disaster: [...]
Aew days ago there was a Taiwanese, yesterday we guided guys from Sri Lanka and today for the Kazimierz Walk we met a family from Venezuela. It seems that Krakow is getting known even on the other side of the globe…
In the afternoon, there was another bike-race. Yesterday, it was a rain, today - a [...]
A Jewish couple from New York were our guests this morning for Jewish Quarter Walk. It turned out that both of them had ancestors from Poland: Krakow and Warsaw. It was an absolutely great pleasure to have them as a company.
In the afternoon, we had a bike-tour race against the weather, which at the beginning of June [...]
